Tours & Activities : City Of Refuge - Afternoon tours $119.00 per person City of Refuge – Turtle ,Kayak & Snorkel Adventure-A.M -****-$129.00pp Check in at our store for outfitting and orientation followed by a short drive to the launching facility from our shop. We launch kayaks roughly 1 hour after check-in. Once on the water you will paddle around the National Historical Park at Honaunau Bay in South Kona. Our guide will escort you past Grass shacks and ancient Hawaiian temples and lead you to a lava tube cave. After exploring the cave area you will return to the gorgeous Bay to snorkel a spectacular coral reef with Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles that frequent this area. The coral here is full of Life. An abundance of wildlife similar to Kealakekua Bay frolic in these waters. After snorkeling you will be set-up for lunch on shore. Followed by a brief drive back to our outfit for check -out at roughly 1:30pm -2:00pm for the A.M. Check-in at 8:30am /A.M. Tour and 1:00 P.M. for the afternoon Tour. Keauhou Bay-Wet-n-Wild Kayak Cave /Snorkel Tour -***$89.00pp (This is the best tour for CRUISE SHIP CLIENTELE that are on a limited time frame) Check-in at our store for outfitting and orientation followed by a short drive to the launching facility from our shop. We launch kayaks roughly 1 hour after check-in. You will be launched out of the well protected Keauhou Bay on the South end of Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona Hi. Keauhou Bay the birth place of King Kamehameha The third(Kau'ikeauoli) is a busy commercial port now but was once a mellow Hawaiian Village. We will escort you south out of Keauhou you will have the opportunity to see Turtles ,Dolphins and Whales (during season)as you paddle along the way. We will paddle South to a series of large Lava Tube Caves nestled inside the cliffs of Kuamo'o Bay used by Hawaiian for many purposes and see the Graves of fallen warriors at the Ancient Hawaiian Battlefields of Kuamo'o Bay. You will snorkel on a small coral reef with an good array of tropical fish for a half an hour or so. We will also do cliff jumping (Ancient sport -Lele Kawa) off the top of towering cliffs which you will be able to try. At your own risk of course ! Tons of Fun !!!!! The kayaking distance is medium impact of all our tours. And is half the snorkeling time of our dolphin tour. A vehicle is recommended. Group sizes average 8-10 persons for this tour during busy seasons. This tour is good for people ages 5 and up medium impact on your body!!!! ***Keauhou Bay -Tips to consider when making a reservation:****Best tour for cruise ship clientele**** This is a open ocean tour along the coast line and probably the most difficult paddling area of all our tours but still very do-able for the strong. This tour has very minimal snorkeling compared to our other tours. A vehicle is recommended for this tour. ( Except Cruise ship customers). Tours average 8-24 people during busy seasons.
