We had a wonderful time with the 6 hour tour to Captain Cook's Monument. Before we started we "found" the office and were greeted by John who helped us decide what we wanted to do and also showed us the ropes on how to make reservations etc. We were both surprised and pleased to find that he was to be our guide or perhaps nurse-maid would be a better description. While we were experienced kayakers we did find some significant differences between sitting on top of a Kayak rather than inside one as we do in the cold waters of Canada's west coast. John provided a continuous travelogue showing off both the natural history and the local cultural sights along the way. We appreciated his knowledge of the Monument Site and his help in ensuring that our snorkelling experience as absolutely wonderful. The spinner dolphins was a new experience for us as we have never had that close an encounter with sea mammals.
Thanks you Aloha and to you John especially.
