Thanks for all of your help and advice, Iwa, our kayak and snorkeling gear worked well, and we really enjoyed Kealakekua Bay. Kayaking out on the open ocean was harder than I thought it would be, but was still fun.
My only suggestion is that it might be nice to have a kayak with a rudder. I know that other rental companies in Hawai'i don't supply kayaks with rudders either, so this might be a gap to consider filling. Anyway, aloha and all the best.
