Hawaii Kealakekua Bay: Kayaking and Snorkeling with Aloha Kayaks 1/17/2012

We booked a tour with Aloha kayaks in Kealakekua Bay on Jan. 17th. There were at least 9 kayaks in our group with 2 guides.

These guys are awesome! They transported and set up all the gear. Clear instructions were given. Good supervision of all participants! Lots of history about the bay. Snorkeling was superb. Water and some snacks were provided. Price is very reasonable!

We saw Spinner dolphins and humpback whales. There were about 20 - 25 dolphins in the pod and at least 4 whales were in the bay.

While snorkeling we saw lots of yellow tangs, butterfly fish, parrot fish, trigger fish, and trumpet fish. The coral is first class!

We would definitely book with Aloha Kayaks again!

Excellent Tour

This was my final day in Hawaii and we took a Kayaking trip over to Captain Cook's memorial from Kealakekua Bay. It was a great end to a great place.

I was TOTALLY impressed with the way Aloha Kayaks handled the whole tour. They treated everyone well; were extremely prepared; very kind; and gave us a great adventure. The waves were a bit big that day but we felt comfortable because our tour guides were very qualified.

Price was RIGHT! Would recommend this tour to others in a heart-beat.
