Hawaii Kealakekua Bay Kayaking January 5, 2012

These guys are great. They are rated #1 in Big Island Revealed for a reason. My sister & I have never been ocean kayaking before, and we were a little nervous about the condition of the surf but REALLY wanted to kayak and snorkel in Kealakekua Bay.

They were honest with us about the high surf & the fact that it may be too rough for us to put in at Kealakekua Bay, even though by being honest they risked losing our business. We decided to try it, anyway, and they give us a detailed description of how to get to the bay (complete with pictures) and a complete run-down of how to use all of the equipment and safety measures.

We had an absolute blast kayaking and snorkeling.
We will definitely be using Aloha Kayak the next time we're in Hawaii.
