City of Refuge Honaunau: Turtle, Kayak & Snorkel Adventure

Once on the water you will paddle around the National Historical Park at Honaunau Bay in South Kona. Grass shacks and ancient Hawaiian temples as you kayak to a lava tube cave.

After exploring the cave area you will return to the gorgeous Bay to snorkel a spectacular coral reef with Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles that frequent this area. The coral here is full of Life.

An abundance of wildlife similar to Kealakekua Bay frolic in these waters. After snorkeling you will want to check out the historical park that is unique, and will be something you talk about for years to come. Then come on back to our shop for a shaved ice.
