Keauhou Kona Tours: Morning Sea Cave and Cliff Jumping to Night Time Manta Ray Tours
Check-in at our store for outfitting and orientation followed by a short drive to the launching facility from our shop. We launch kayaks roughly 1 hour after check-in. You will be launched out of the well protected Keauhou Bay on the South end of Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona Hi.
Keauhou Bay the birth place of King Kamehameha The Third (Kau'ikeauoli). It is a busy commercial port now but was once a mellow Hawaiian Village.
We will escort you south out of Keauhou you will have theopportunity to see Turtles ,Dolphins and Whales (during season)as you paddle along the way.
We will paddle South to a series of large Lava Tube Caves nestled inside the cliffs of Kuamo'o Bay used by Hawaiian for many purposes and see the Graves of fallen warriors at the Ancient Hawaiian Battlefields of Kuamo'o Bay.
You will snorkel on a small coral reef with an good array of tropical fish for a half an hour or so. We will also do cliff jumping (Ancient sport -Lele Kawa) off the top of towering cliffs which you will be able to try. At your own risk of course ! Tons of Fun !!!!!
